1. …So, of course our boxes got lost along the way and we’re releasing this shirt a week after everyone else — please just consider it a re-stock! — and scarily enough it feels even more relevant…

2. By now you probably already saw this shirt, but if not, it was initiated by Spike Lee, Marc Ecko and Chris Gibbs from UNION as a means to generate visibility of support and also dialog around the ongoing Special Counsel investigation — led by Robert Mueller — into any efforts by the Russian government to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, which includes an investigation of any possible links and/or coordination between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the Russian government, and which Donald Trump decries on a daily basis, frequently threatening to end by firing Robert Mueller. Chris Gibbs called in Some Ware as well as Noah, Awake New York, Bephie, Melody Ehsani, Mademe NYC, Union Los Angeles, Idntypolitics, and Undefeated to be a pat of this co-released shirt and proceeds from the sale of the t-shirt go to https://generationcitizen.org/, who are bringing much needed CIVICS classes back into our educational system.

3. For us at Some Ware, we came up in very progressive/punk/liberal communities and we know how we feel about this topic, and we are happy to share our view of this shirt, but the exciting reality is that increasingly the interest in clothes/“the culture” and “streetwear” speaks a much wider and more ideologically diverse audience who we know do not all feel the same as we do. This is a MAJOR moment on Earth right now, where a lot a our fate feels in the balance, and regardless of how you feel we invite you to engage in a dialog around this in the comments on our instagram page. Not a fight, or a scream out, but a dialog.
